Rare – Explosion-proof Kokosha table lamp – Circa 1970 recovered from an old supertanker!

Crafted from solid brass, this lamp is made by Kokosha, a Japanese manufacturer of marine-grade electrical equipment and accessories. This is an opportunity to own a completely unique and superior quality fixture to anything else industrial on the market! This light would have been installed on a supertanker, originally it would have been painted but it has been completely restored.

The hood on the back has some great details of the manufacturer’s serial numbers, weight, type etc. and provides incredible character. It was rewired, tested and fitted with an incandescent switch, braided cable, plug and squirrel cage bulb.

The mounted lamp is a standard 60 watt household light bulb mounted on an Edison screw ceramic socket.

Realizzata in ottone massiccio, questa lampada è prodotta da Kokosha, un produttore giapponese di apparecchiature e accessori elettrici di qualità nautica. Questa è un’opportunità per possedere un apparecchio completamente unico e di qualità superiore a qualsiasi altra cosa industriale sul mercato! Questa luce sarebbe stata installata su una superpetroliera, originariamente sarebbe stata dipinta ma è stata completamente restaurata.

Il cappuccio sul retro ha alcuni fantastici dettagli dei numeri di serie del produttore, peso, tipo ecc. e fornisce un carattere incredibile. È stato ricablato, testato ed è stato montato un interruttore a incandescenza, un cavo intrecciato, una spina e una lampadina a gabbia di scoiattolo.

La lampada montata è una lampadina domestica standard da 60 watt montata su un portalampada in ceramica “vite di Edison”.
